Actually, I think you're conflating Capitalism with Patriarchy here. If it weren't for patriarchy's death chock on gender, women could probably surpass men in business. But I'm not going to debate he said vs she said. The biggest problem is that there are two classes of people. Wealthy and poor. As a result, there are two systems of justice. In the United States, there's Criminal court and Civil court. You can not be charged for the same crime both civilly and criminally. Guess which court the poor people often end up going to-- that's right, the one that makes you a slave, according to the 13th amendment. Wealthy people almost never end up behind bars. They get a slap on the wrist, a fine. Corporations too are exempt from criminal proceedings. They can't be criminally liable. What are people gonna do, demolish a building, tear up a contract? Give it a time out in a leaded box?
Capitalism is a tool devised by wealthy people to keep the status quo. These people use divisive tactics to keep us poor people arguing with one another. It's the oldest trick in the book: Distraction. And they fuel a lot of their division with scarcity tactics. "Oh, there's not enough water here, there's not enough room there. Not everybody gets to eat..."
Some day, (probably long after I'm dead), humanity will realize that competition isn't the way to succeed. Community, working together is a much easier path to walk. The sooner people get rid of the Ownership class, the better the entire planet will be. Capitalism is a plague upon the Earth. It's like cancer, slowly growing and destroying everything it touches. Has anybody noticed recently how seemingly everything has been monetized? Even our beloved hobbies, people are scrambling to find ways to make money by doing the things we escape our cruel reality with.-- Which only sucks the joy out of our pleasurable activities.
So, I formally disagree. There are much better systems that Capitalism. All Capitalism is, when boiled down to its essence is, exploitation.
