Logos yourself or hire someone else?

RE: Logos yourself or hire someone else?

My graphics skills are very basic, I mean I do know how to make skins and paint jobs for cars for GTA or other based games and able to edit textures and edit them to my own ways :) But in terms of professional then I rather hire an expert or get someone who I know or to do it for free.

Mostly to keep it cheap and free, if it's basic and little then I do it myself :) But for most cases, I had people do it for me on my site and also twitch.

I did make this myself :)

RE: Logos yourself or hire someone else?

Currently trying to learn graphics design using corel draw, i believe i could always make all my graphics myself instead of hiring someone to do that for me.

You cannot be an expert at all things, for many a thing, you need someone to do the job done for you. There are many websites that offer solutions to your problems. If you do not know how to design a logo simply go to Fiverr, freelancers.com, or any other marketplace and get a logo.

There are apps on mobile that can help you make a logo. I make use of it whenever I am lazy to do a logo myself.

I'll attempt to create the logo myself if it is for a personal project (which is pretty much all my projects) but if I was doing something commercial I would likely just go the professional route.

I can go both ways, I have hired someone to make a logo for my website in the past. How ever I made my own logo for my current website. I like my logo a lot and have no plans on changing it.

My graphics skills are terrible so always pay someone else to do them

This is definitely my stand. I would always want to hire someone with the experience to handle the designing for me since it is better and easier to hire a pro to do the graphics designs for me.

When it comes to logos for my projects, I always tend to attempt them myself but if I can not come up with something I like, I will ask someone who creates graphics to see what they come up with.

Generally speaking, I like to create my own logos, I have some skills with Photoshop and Canva. However, I am not a designer so if I need a professionally made logo, I will always hire a designer.

It depends on the project’s scope and my current workload. For my blog, I enjoy the creative process of designing my own logos and graphics—it allows me to infuse my personal brand into every aspect of my site. However, for more complex designs or when I’m pressed for time, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire a professional graphic designer to ensure high-quality results.

I agree with this. Sometimes creating your own can give a personal touch, but for more complex things, I would probably consult somebody else.
