I'm getting back into Bootstrap

Hi folks,Trueprime here. I just wanted to say I been enjoying Xenforo especially the new 2.0 and 2.1 revisions. When I started developing I was into using Wordpress. Wordpress is an amazing platform for creating any niche type site, but my preference always been into gaming, or business sales. I enjoyed creating other platforms too like news and blog sites, but I wanted to continue to test the waters and aim more into the community avenue. Wordpress forum system bbpress was not what I was looking for and no matter how many times i had custom it, I always felt I was missing something in the forums. Then I discovered Vbullet. I used them for couple years until they sold out and Xenforo was created. During this whole time, I started working with other software like Bootstrap. bootstrap is amazing and holds no bounds when it comes to customizing and styling. It's more of a freelance type of scripting with no boundaries.

Since I got into Xenforo, I held off from some of my other software, unless friends or clients wanted me to use it. Now Xenforo has really advanced especially since 2.0 and 2.1 which in my opinion is amazing. Xenforo is one of the best forum platforms out there up to date. Recently I been working on several projects and put my foot back in the door to using Bootstrap. Right now I am working on several ways of merging a Bootstrap platform with Xenforo as the forums. This is an exciting journey and of course I'll be glad to share some of my discoveries. Feel free to like or comment on which softwares you enjoy or prefer. Also never let your mind believe it has limits, because if you set your goals right, only the sky is the limit

Interesting share 1@Trueprime[/uSER]. Boostrap is an interesting framework to use. It takes a bit of skill to master though. Pure CSS based websites are much easier to make in my opinion for the advanced CSS user. Bootstrap tends to make it much easier for intermediate users to implement their built in classes and have the setup they want. I here you may be helping 1@Camelion[/uSER] with implementing the wordpress add-on into Gamers101? I think it's a great idea and if you think it's the right thing I say go for it. So far I am loving the style you have incorporated. I look forward to getting back on the site soon. Camelion made me a staff member so that will be a fun journey. Welcome back.

Thank you for your kind words 1@TopSilver[/uSER] Yes I have taken the role and partnership with helping 1@Camelion[/uSER] with Gamers101. Also it's awesome Mindpiff has partnered. I think our further plans is to actually not utilize the Wordpress into it as we feel it will be better to benefit to using one software for the platform. We will have articles but testing out the waters when it comes to the right addon for this. Personally for G101 we will not use bootstrap for that specific project, but since you are staff and partner I'll pm you more into detail on the plan. Actually 1@Trueprime[/uSER] this theme this go-round was not made by me but made by Dohtheme. It's his style nubia light and nubia dark. Also I appreciate the thought you have given. It's much appreciated. I look forward to seeing you more around the site. I know we should be getting a lot more users pretty soon. I had messaged him originally thinking the dark theme was a separate charge totaling $70 for both and offered him an expired Xenforo 2 license for it. He replied saying I could have it free. Yes he is a great developer and from Egypt. I have supported some of his themes in past before and im still a client of his. People like that are worth something in this world we live in. That's awesome he offered that free to you, he sees something in you. Also your addons are quite amazing as well and I will continue to follow them as you create more in the future

Yes I'm still learning the ropes and have a lot to learn but so far the process is becoming easier as I go. I need more practice to get better. Another add-on I suggest you use on Gamers101 is Xons User Activity. It's a free add-on but shows how many guests are viewing the forum sections. It will say "1 viewing" or "5 viewing" as an example. Does several other things as well

Yes I'm still learning the ropes and have a lot to learn but so far the process is becoming easier as I go. I need more practice to get better. I couldn't agree more. I have used many softwares, including forum softwares and I must say Xenforo 2.x has got the winner by far. I look forward to seeing what you come up with using Bootstrap. I have never used it but I know you can do much much more with it. Good luck 1@Trueprime[/uSER]
