Do You Trust Free Wifi, or Need a VPN?

I do not trust free wifi when going around town, on trips and vacations, etc. I always have a VPN turned on when I'm on the go and not at home. Free Wifi can have people snooping on what you're sending to the web, and because of that I always turn a VPN on when I'm not at my house. Mobile and free Wifi's I turn it on.

Personally, I am not comfortable with making use of anything that is given for free because I know that it doesn't always give you the best service since there is no commitment on your part in that kind of project. So, I wouldn't trust using free Wi-Fi.

Rarely do I use free wi-fi when I am out and about as I have my own data that is always on when I leave the house and lose connection to my home internet.

I have always found my own data more reliable than the free wi-fi you get in stores and such.

We have enough data where I can just use the satellite's 5G connection if the internet goes out instead of free wifi but I still wouldn't be too paranoid about it because I don't trust it either but if you go to like McDonalds and use theirs it's unlikely someone is snooping around your phone or pc.

Free WiFi? It’s like finding a treasure chest in a video game—exciting but potentially full of traps! I love the convenience, but I’m also not about to let my data get looted by digital pirates. So, VPN to the rescue! It’s my trusty firewall shield, keeping my personal info locked down tighter than my gym sneakers.
