I have 4 cats that live in the house Their names are Noah, Caroline, Luke, and Jasper. There's one cat who stays outside who's name is Jojo. I have a dog who is a poodle and his name is Teddy. I used to have a golden retriever who was my very best friend but he died of heart worms. I know he's in Heaven. Those are my pets.

We have 2 rescue cats, they're brothers and were both adopted from our local shelter, Bertie and Eddie.
Eddie has no tail bless him. It sounds like their previous owners basically let the dog play with them when they were kittens as it's chew toy, and unfortunately his tail was badly broken in one such attack and had to be amputated. He gets by just fine, but he's super timid even of me.
Bertie is much more confident, sometimes too much for his own good! He often picks fights with Eddie, steals his food, and then thinks that he's the man of the house.. He also has a very cuddly and attention seeking side to him though.

I had a kitten 15 years ago, his name was "chiqui" which means shortie in spanish. He left the house after my dad scolded him when i was at school. He was super smart and hunted a few mices by himself and he wasn't even 2 years old. He used to sleep in my room and i have very vivid memories of him even though it was a long time ago. I don't have the time now to raise properly a pet and my parents won't do it so...

I have a dog I rescued from a animal shelter about six years back or so. I couldn't wish or hope for a better dog. She's loyal, loving and was off-leash and potty trained when I got her. Still wonder to this day how no one else could see the potential in her, other than the fact that she wasn't a puppy.
We all know how puppy dog filters go.

Yeah rescues usually have really good hearts. Our cat Jasper, my stepdad found after someone had abandoned it out of their car. Just got out their car and left the cat there. He then took the cat in and gave it a home. He's been with us ever since my stepdad has been around. He's a black cat and he has a really good heart. I'm more of a dog person though and rescue dogs are usually great pets

Yeah, I was actually there looking for a dog and wasn't sure if I wanted a puppy or adult. I knew there were ups and downs with both. Adults would sometimes be stubborn and less likely to transition well to a new home or be okay with other dogs (my family had five at home at the time). Puppies would require potty, leash, etc training. My mom and I actually walked by her cage the first time and she looked miserable. We were actually walking back by and she pushed her treat through the bottom of the cage and I knew that I had to have her.
Been happy ever since and the list of people wanting to take her from me continues to grow with each person who meets her. :ROFLMAO:

I used to have a Labrador. We named her Snoopy as she was always snooping around. Very lovable dog. Unfortunately we lost her to old age few years back. She was our constant companion. It was difficult for us to come to terms on her loss. Exactly for the same reason we have not had any pet after that. But if we change our mind, it will be a lab again.
