I use my main email account with Yahoo and have it setup on my phone so I can see recent emails. I've been using Yahoo since I was 10 years old. I used to play a lot of their game Yahoo Pool back in the day. When I was like 11 I even created a website for how to cheat in Yahoo Pool with auto aimers and stuff. I still remember those days. Have you ever heard of something called a Yahoo Rare? It's accounts that have special characters in them that you can't create since like early 2000 I believe. Such as (______TopSIlver____) .... etc It used to be quite a game we would play. People would offer them up in bets on who would win the pool match. Hackers used to make a game out of this used cracker tools to try and get as many as they could and then people would drop the username and passwords and so forth in pool lobbies and whoever was fastest would have one. Something really fun I was into when I was about 10 or 11. Brings back a lot of memories

I've used it occasionally, but I never really bothered with it too much because I was always told Yahoo's services were inferior to what else was available.

Back in the day I used Yahoo! Mail, and used it's search engine over Google even though ironically it was powered by Google at the time!
I've since abandoned my Yahoo! account although I do still have it, and haven't used it to search since they stopped using Google as I found the results to be less relevant.
The only thing I still use Yahoo! for now is to access news on my phone, as I find it gives quite a nice summary with anything between 20-40 headlines at the time.

Yes, I too use Yahoo for news but that is about it. I feel like gmail and outlook mail providers are mostly used now a days. Yahoo I feel like its for the older generation. Every time I've had to take a clients email, they've always been 40+

Back in the day, I liked the portal that they allowed us to customize and the news headers were interesting. I also enjoyed their instant messenger, it had a nice drawing app integrated to draw with whoever you were texting.

I used to use Yahoo a very long time ago has my personal mail provider, however Gmail released and I use that now as my primary email provider. Although my Yahoo email address is still linked with several accounts I use on websites.

Surprised they seem older to you. That's quite interesting. I imagine not unlikely for a lot of people though. To me they are about as famous as Google. They are quite an older site. I keep my main email with them but I usually use Google for my searches

@NewsProject I will let it go this time though please do not spam. The reason I'm going to let it go is to explain that Yahoo is getting quite old. They aren't quite what they used to be. It was really back in the days when gaming was not a thing as much as it is today. So users would get on and Play Yahoo Pool and other multiplayer games to have a little fun. As consoles and pc games got so much better people drifted away from that.
Yahoo is definitely not a thing again in my opinion if you mean something that a lot of people use. As a figure of speech however, I can agree with that.

Yeah, its still my main thing for all my non-important stuff or things related to my websites I visit often. I also check out their news as they often post random and low key things you wouldn't find on bigger news sites.

I stopped using Yahoo mail since I lost my account and couldn't find a means to recover it. It was really a painful experience for me.
