They released something along those lines recently here but it was a PS1 instead. Many people only bought it for emulation. I personally don't do that but they use something called bleemsync combined with retro and I hear it's not a bad setup.

Sooo.. I've picked up a PS2 slim (wow that thing is small). Decent condition, 2 controllers, 10 games, all for £60 including postage.

I've had a play with the DVD exploit that I've previously mentioned.. It doesn't work with all games, but I'm getting a reasonable success rate.

Here in my country you get a "new" ps2 console for less than $50 with 2 controllers and a library of games.
People still update the soccer games with actual names of the players lol.

Ah I loved that thing but I sold it a year ago and before selling I played it for a week. It brought back so many memories that are just golden.

I still have my original fat PS2 around here somewhere, with all the games. I'm pretty sure I will ever get rid of it.

I do play it but not often but occasionally. I owned it earlier time when I was still in high school around 2012. I really enjoyed the gameplay back then.

Hmm, its been a while for you graduating from highschool. I was still in my mom's womb when you graduated from high school, Laughs. That means you've been playing games of such magnitude by then?

Yes indeed. The first computer game I recall playing was Oregon Trail in an Apple IIe in elementary school in the early 8i0's. I also played games off of cassette tapes on I think it was an Amiga or a Commodore. Good stuff!

Do anyone here still play using PS2? I own the Slim PS2 version and i haven't upgraded my console till now. I love Here Comes the Pain game in PS2 and i play it occasionally.

If I still had the console with me, I'd probably play on it once in a while but my cousin took it away.

I never had a PlayStation 2, but one of my friends had, and I used to go over and play Bully for hours. It was a good time...

Not recently. But I used to play Silent Hill 2 on my ps2. But that was a year back.

There are definitely so many gamers who are still playing on their Playstation 2 and in fact Playstation 2 is one of the best PS consoles.

This is good. There are some friends here that makes active use of their Playstation 2 to play most of their games.

I still had my PS2 intact until last year when I gifted it out to the kid living next door.

The PS 2 still remains my favorite table top console till date.

I have not had the mind to gift my PlayStation 2 console out. I make use of it when I want to play some classic games.

If I still had my Playstation 2, I would still play on it. It's among the best Playstation console with the best games.

I don't have my own Playstation 2 but my brother still have his own and it's still working very well. 

If mine was still playing very well, I would give it a good playing time because it's a good console.
