What size monitor?

What size monitor do you feel is best when building your computer? Do you require a certain dimension or ratio? What about using two monitors to do what you need to do? My laptop has a 17" screen and I like that but I had two 19" monitors when I worked as a Project Admin and it was critical for viewing large spreadsheets.

RE: What size monitor?

24inch 1080p is the stranded size screen that most people world have, in fact rather than one but three to four. Most offices places and the schools have 21inch to 24inch. If you are at home in your own environment then you have open choices.

Me, I love to have two screen setup but I only have one at the moment since I do not have the cash and space, What I have now is an $800 gaming monitor that's 27inch 1440P at 165hz that has bells and whistles as it's a gaming monitor. It's 2k screen other words :p You still can get yourself 27inch 1080p screen :)

According to http://this (not entirely convinced of its accuracy), I'm using a 20" monitor at home - it's fairly old, so maybe..

The next thing I invest in will probably be a new PC monitor.. Probably 27" if I can find one at a reasonable price.

22" LG 4k is my monitor. I personally love it, idk all of the specs for it but It's the best monitor I've owned personally.

My laptop has a 17"3 in screen diagonal. I personally prefer bigger screens for laptops. Wouldn't want one bigger then that but that seems to be the perfect size. Yet to get one that has a better display ratio. Currently using 1600 x 900 ultra HD backlit display. The fact that it's an HD backlit makes it better though.

I am using 24 inch 1080p monitor from Benq, i was so eager to buy 27 2k Monitor but didn't have the sufficient fund to buy it. So settled with 24 and i am happy with it.

RE: What size monitor?

I'm currently running one of those ultrawide monitors, I think mine is the 41" variety, I decided that 49" might be just a tad too much. I was right on that count when the monitor arrived, it's the same width as my desk! I bought this though because I value screen real estate and it's been a lifesaver with the whole working from home situation - made life a lot easier as I usually need to work/have several things open at once to be able to do what I do. Plus. no bezel is gorgeous!

What resolution do you use? And what resolution should one download media files in order to have a good experience?

I found 24 inch best for me. I have 2k benq monitor and it's given me pretty good results.

Do you have any ghosting issues while gaming? it's really annoying if you use a high refreshing rate monitor.

Nah I mostly go on low fps like max 60 so I don't get it. Plus mine is an LED so I have seen any of my monitors ghost since a long time. Especially this one.

60 FPS isn't necessarily low. Some platforms are running a lot of games at 30 FPS even on the Xbox One. At least the Series X and PS5 is mostly 4K at 60-120 FPS. They are claiming games now can run at 120 FPS. Not sure but I do know my D&D Dark Alliance game was so incredibly smoothe so the framerate must have been better.

Yup definitely they both these consoles are so neck neck competing with each other, that my friends are confused which console to get. But by bets are on the Ps5 cuz I'm definitely going for the higher fps with 4k
