The only thing I can say is don't under rate Chilis or Applebees, Outback, or Long Horn. If I go out to eat I try to go there. My dad has taken me to all those before and they are phenomenal. A fat juicy steak with fat all over it is what I like. And I won't make your mouth water when I say some mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese is usually what I get. I also tend to like cheese stick mozzarella or cheese fries appetizers.

I'm probably going to get a A5 Rump Cap Steak (Wagyu) soon. The price is $63 AUD but I have seen steak as high as $260 AUD.
This ttype of steak would be a once-in-a-blue-moon deal, I don't have the money to get it whenever I want it.

After that I have my eyes on Kobe steak.

Wow, that's really expensive. My sushi rolls cost around 30 $ (that's too much, i usually pay less than $10 for dinner) Have you ever tried to do it yourself?

I generally do not treat myself too often, heck I consider a bag of grated cheese for £2.49 a treat! Everything I buy is generally on a budget as I am a student after all. Sometimes I like to treat myself to a meal at a restaurant but even then it is pretty affordable. I do not like these expensive restaurants as even though the quality may be better, the plate sizes are very small! I would eat it all in five minutes if that.

Sometimes at the grocery store where I shop the manager puts meats on special and I try to grab the filet mignon if it's a good price. I've gotten 3 in a package for $7 USD and that's a great deal because it's about a third of the normal price. All I do is put sea salt on it and cook it with a little olive oil in a cast iron skillet.

I might go out and get a big juicy ham steak from time to time, they are not cheap.

I personally love going to a thai restaurant for their Panang. Green Curry, and Red I can make at home and it's just as good as restaurant quality, however I can never seem to recreate panang at all. That and Sushi are my go to meals when I'm trying to get something higher priced I guess. idk if this counts either but full blocks of Parmesan is something else too. Nothing like a small block of fresh Parmesan for $20 lol. When it comes to the grocery store, lump crab meat is my go to as I make crab cakes and home made remoulade.

Has anyone ever had like a Japanese Steak? Kind of like Hibachi but not cut up and an actual steak. That in my opinion would be really good. 1@Nagato[/uSER]

New York strip or Ribeye steaks is what I usually would eat if I go to a Restaurant but my question is if you were to get a Japanese steak, what would it be called?

The biggest I remember offhand, is when I had a meal out and ended costing $250 :p for three people. It was all three meals each with Lambshrangs. THat's that time, can't remember other times. If alcohol counts, it'd be the Absinthe in my cupboard. 700mls for $75, $120 with shipping included.

PS, I had a $40 steak at a nice restaurant once. It wasn't the worst steak I've eaten, but home-cooked steak tasted better. It's the reason I never order steaks at restaurants.

What I mean is Japanese beef wagyu, for example.
What matters to me is that the food is tasty and not just expensive for nothing. I have a very soft stomach and once I eat poor made meals, I start to purge immediately.
