War with Russia

For American members of this forum especially, do you feel war with Russia is a worthy risk or should we leave the situation with The Ukraine alone?   Well, Russia doesn't want an unfriendly government nearby.  However, the situation is very hypocritical because obviously the USA did the Mexican War way back and even to this day, Canadians are not totally trusting of their southern neighbor.

Warfare is something easy to go into if it isn't managed well by thank-thanked people of the affected countries. I don't want war to go between Russia and USA. War in the past wasn't an easy one, lives were lost ridiculous, food shortages, malnutrition etc are common things war brings in.

War is unlikely because of the nuclear threat to the United States and other countries. Such a catastrophe could devastate the entire population. The threat of a chemical weapon is intermittent as well.

Its quite a scary situation but like TopSilver said, nuclear threat would be catastrophe and I like to like Russia doesn't want to do that. I really don't want a war.

What's worse is software that knows and can even provide a math equation that says the enemy won't fire back. That's what I'm worried about as mind reading technology is becoming more available. Could possibly change the situation entirely.

It def would change the situation. Hope they all just come to an agreement and know that war isnt the best solution.

War at this juncture is a very bad tactical decision, be it in any part of the world. As it is economy is just gradually recovering with uncertainty still persisting. This is no time to play war game. No sane government will think about war unless there is some ulterior motive. It's very clear what that motive is. World knows both Russia and US have their own reasons to go to war. Unfortunately, there will never be a winner.  the world economy will be severely affected and the damage may take many years to repair. Hopefully, talks for de-escalating will continue, else it is the common citizens who will suffer due to this conflict.

NATOs involvement and US interference have brought on this catastrophe. US interference only caused more damages and led to war, which otherwise probably would have been avoided or even delayed. True, Russia going to war at this juncture cannot be justified. But the haste at which attack was carried out, I believe, is due to constant threat of sanctions to Russia by the US Government.

There's a massive amount of hypocrisy in a war situation.  In that case, it's tough for a truly thinking person to get behind stuff.   Well, of course, a lot of people are outraged at an invasion of a seemingly peaceful nation.
