Do you use a VPN? If so, which software do you use?

I only use mine when downloading torrents and the like (although I know they're not bulletproof). I currently have a NordVPN subscription running until March next year.. :geek:

RE: VPN

I currently use Surf shark, mainly when using torrents or on my mobile phone.

RE: VPN

I use it for when I go... sailing so to speak :P otherwise I don't bother with it.

RE: VPN

I use a VPN for work because I must. It's a good idea that helps secure communications. Personally, I've never used VPN on my TPC (truly personal computers (phones, tablets)) or PCs. Personally, I don't engage in social media outside of Tapatalk and these forums. There's no Facebook, Twitter or web browsing where privacy is an issue. If there was, I would use a VPN and anti mallard tools...

RE: VPN

I have a VPN on my phone but that's it. I don't do anything on the PC that would require a VPN to be honest. I don't use social media on my computer, I don't even have ads enabled as I have adblocker. So outside of the phone I never touch a VPN. The VPN on my phone is Betternet which is alright. I have the free version so the ads are very disruptive and annoying sadly.

RE: VPN

I rarely use Turbo vpn from mobile, it seemed to be good... since I don't use laptop much.

Nord VPN is the best. Though, I seldom use VPNs. As most of the sites ban using it.
I normally use it while playing PUBG game via Korean server. :)

RE: VPN

I don't use a VPN, also known as a Virtual Private Network or proxy sharing server. This is because I don't have any reason to hide my identity online from others. Anyway, most free versions of these network-sharing services are limited, and some have a ton of advertising in, so it's not worth it.

RE: VPN

I haven’t used any VPN till now. Thinking of checking out Namecheap’s New VPN service. They offer free trial for one month.

RE: VPN

Using VPN for some good reasons isn't bad, at times its good to use it for privacy. But using it for malicious activities isn't right at all.

Yeah, I am also required by my job to use their VPN now when I'm working from home. On my private computer I did run NordVPN for a while and I liked it - it was a fast and simple tool that I could use both on my phone and PC without any problems. They seem trustworthy ad they usually offer some good deals for new customers, so check them out if you are interested in using a VPN. (y)

RE: VPN

Naw i live in Canada so i dont really need a VPN. It would be a waste of money for me.

RE: VPN

I rarely use a VPN, but I do have access to using a couple when I need it. Had to use one over the years, to get to sites that inadvertently had a few issues the owners couldn't fix. It is one of those things that I don't have to use, but is useful when I do need it.

RE: VPN

I juggle between several but I do use a VPN sometimes.

One prime example is when I move websites to a new host so that I can access them immediately on the new server.

I use NordVPN, does what I want, seems good.

RE: VPN

I currently don't use a VPN but I should get one. It comes handy in certain situations. And it's some sort of protection against tracking even when doing simple daily tasks such as browsing. Privacy nowadays is even harder to keep online.

I have installed Hoxx VPN installed on my firefox browser. I use a free version, I have never used paid VPN. I use VPN to access websites that are blocked by the government.
