I've been hit on the side when I was with my uncle. Was pretty scary. We pulled out to turn and traffic was coming and got hit pretty bad. Thank God I was okay. Other then that I've never been in one except for getting rear ended a few times.

Someone pulled out on me at a Crossroad, no fault of mine.. This was probably about 7 or 8 years ago now.
Thankfully I was only going at 30mph and the crumple zones did their job - no injuries. Other driver was shaken but fine, and accepted full liability.

The driver of our van dozed off and went and hit a parked truck. Most of us were sleeping and had our forehead banged against the front seat. The front side of the vehicle was damaged, the doors were jammed and we had to break the rear glass and jump out. It was really scary .
