I like where it's headed but games need faster download speeds when playing wireless. I can see that cable companies are cheaping out their customers and provided the lowest quality speeds for wireless connectivity. Sure with a wired connection there's never an issue but that's not the case with anything else.

I mean it's still dominant due to them having most of the resources, and by resources I mean money. But for how long will this go like this we don't know, we see more and more indy games getting the top places when it comes to good games, but then again they grow into AAA companies, so I think it's a circle of life. Companies will die and new ones will rise to power.

As long as people keep preordering despite previous histories of bad releases, studio and publisher executives will keep doing it. When they start having terrible preorder and first week or so sales on major projects and franchises, they'll start to get worried.

Very true, Like Microsoft right now are one of the dominant ones , they have been buying the smaller companies which I guess is getting rid of competitors but I  don't want it to turn out like when Activision brought blizzard and we have seen what happened to them. and I do agree the indie devs are really been shining lately, its awesome to see.

I have never been a big fan of getting video games on pre orders. Although, I tried to get one which was The Last of Us Part II.

Most companies seem to put their games as beta on pre-orders. They don't care that much about the game as much as they do about the money. And well, most of them don't listen to feedback as well, never fixing game bugs or improving the game.
