RE: Sony being sued for $5.91 billon

That's a lot to be sued for but for choosing their own price? That seems a little cliche to me. I can't understand that thought process the district attorney had when filing the lawsuit for the person just because if you own a company why can't you choose what price you sell the games for? That only thought process I have is they were charging different prices for different customers which would be a huge lawsuit.

I'm not sure if this case would survive day 1 in the court before it's going to be thrown out. I know that this is all about the commission Sony places in their games which Microsoft and Epic games do the same thing as well. Unless it's proven that Sony have another way of extorting their customers, this case is going to be dead even before it started.

To be very honest, I don't know what to say in this one. But, if it's possible to catch Sony guilty of doing that, I would be interested in seeing it become successful.

??????

A lot of we gamers would be entitled to a good amount of refund by the company.

There's no good proof that's going to be enough to make Sony guilty of this accusations. I'm not sure if any judge would listen to this more than once and strike it out.

This is a complete waste of time.

This is going to be the joke of the century. There's no way Sony would be falling for this because from how I see it, there's no case here. Sony didn't break any rules and they never exploited any customer.

If it's Ubisoft that's been accused of doing this, I would beat my chest and say that they are very capable of doing it. They are pushing for NFTs being allowed in video games. They are very shady.

Ubisoft is battling a lot internally and they have even considered selling the company but they haven't had any buyer. Sony is way better than Ubisoft.

If it was the case that happened in Brazil, then they should pay! I can never support any company shortchanging their customers and that was what Sony did in that incident.

All gaming companies have their commission charged on their games. Microsoft does it, Epic games and Sony. I don't see much wrong in what Sony did.

The only challenge that one can see is that they didn't fulfill their side of the bargain or you don't see that as an issue?

This is the type of case that Sony will end up losing. I have come to notice that in most cases like this, the court will play fair and punish a big company for messing up with their customers.

How did the case later ended up? Was Sony found guilty of the charges? Did they pay the $5.91 billon?

When we are waiting for Sony to make available their Playstation 5 for us to see and buy, another entity is having them sued for $5.91 billion.

This life is not balanced at all.
