Who likes showering? Do you like hot or cold showers? They say that having a nice cold one in the mornings is good for the heart. I'm more a warm shower dude.

RE: Shower

I've been a bath guy most of my life. I do take showers though sometimes but I have been taking baths as opposed to showers a decent bit. Maybe it's because I don't like standing up as much. Not exactly sure. It may be something about just wanting to relax.

RE: Shower

I enjoy showers, take one if I don't need to. Which I take them as hot as possible, feels so good, until you have to step out at least.

RE: Shower

I grew up really poor and I remember when I was 7 and my father and uncle were going to install a shower so we could be like the rich people in town. Because of this I HATE taking baths as it reminds me of the time we were so poor. I'm a shower person and I take them in the evening.

RE: Shower

Shower every day, much prefer it over a bath.

RE: Shower

I need a hot shower daily. I tend to shower in the mornings to make sure I look and feel good throughout the day. I only ever took cold showers after PT in the army but those days are long past me so no more cold showers for me :D

I don't think I could take a shower in the morning, I rather do it when I get home and wash off any dirt from the day.

That's completely understandable. I'm retired and own my own company so I don't leave my office chair hardly at all during the day :p

RE: Shower

I shower at least every single day. It's how I was brought up with the family members. It runs in the jeans so of speak. I always get told that you been up all day then going to bed in your nice clean covers with your dirty body. End of the day doesn't matter how sweaty you get, you still get your body dirty. So each night on every single day :)

Yes, I get naked :P having a shower naked.

RE: Shower

Hot showers.. I can't imagine wanting to have a cold shower!

The only times I opt for a bath instead is if I have a joint that aches, or if I'm feeling unwell..

RE: Shower

I take cold shower most of the days. When I feel to relax muscles and joints, I prefer hot shower.

RE: Shower

A cold shower in the morning does wonders to your body and mind. It keeps you alert for the days grind. And don't forget to have a hot shower in the evening once you get back home after a hard days work. It will certainly relax your strained muscles and relieve your stressed mind.

RE: Shower

It depends , hot showers in winters and cold ones in summers are great to have. I am fond of taking showers.
Is there any difference between showering and bathing? I don't really know any or think so. And for the record, I believe that everyone who's sane, always takes their bath.
I can't cope with hot water bath, neither would I also be comfortable with cold water bath.

It's all about making use of warm water.

RE: Shower

Hot showers year round, I prefer it to be warm enough to turn the skin red; but, not hot enough to cause burns.

RE: Shower

There's a high chance of me getting sick if I take a cold shower, so I usually go with warm ones. I don't necessarily love them but I don't dislike them either. I consider it as an essential thing to do because I hate feeling unclean.

Seriously, I keep wondering how some people deal with making use of hot water to bath or shower ? Doesn't it hurt their skin or something?

Exactly my point. I can't imagine how one would bath with hot water and their skin would still be safe from getting burnt and insensitive.
