RE: Russia's reply to sanctions

In reply to US sanctions against Russian space program, head of Russian space agency have threatened to blow up the International Space Station, a 500 - ton structure which could crash land in India or China. A very serious threat. I wish instead of escalating the war, talks should immediately be established so that the imminent world catastrophe can be avoided.

The International community is playing a safe game thinking that they wouldn't be affected by the ongoing war but sooner or later the supporting and non supporting group of countries are going to face the fallout.

Their best bet would have been not to start a war. Then it wouldn't be much of an issue as they would have a stronger voice in how far the sanctions went. Though now at this point their voice is lowered a great deal.

Yeah   I agree.  I personally feel that be it an individual or a country, we have to speak up at the appropriate time  or we lose a lot.  Russia's nuclear threat has forced Ukraine to come for talks.  It is a small relief to all.

There's not much talking with Russia.  They want a nation friendly to Russia.  In other words, they don't want NATO in there.   They can only get real assurance by toppling the Ukrainian government.
