Of course, to many this seems as a joke for someone who many claim is as ruthless as a Mafia don - and of course, we can't forget the recent invasion.   Anyway, though, many conservatives in the USA have or had sympathy for Putin - because they thought he stood up for traditional Christian values - and on top of that, he appealed to a lot of so-called angry white males in the US, angry at feminism and gay rights.

Men in general need to act on emotion and force sometimes. Doesn't give him the right. I don't agree with what he's doing yet you can't just take down the fact that he may have values because you don't know him. Simply because you don't know this person is why.

Putin's family is kept in secret. Meanwhile everyone knows about the children of Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Barack Obama, etc., there is totally no information about the family of Putin. He keeps them out of the lights and protects them very well. He does not seek fame, but security for his family.

This story goes along with what I'm saying.  However, as the article is saying, "How can evangelicals justify a blatant invasion?   Any thoughts?

He doesn't want the Western media screwing up things for him for any reason.

I don't know why people like to mix politics with religion. Religion is a private affair where as politics is a public affair. Just because Putin's follow the same religious value as yours does not mean you should be supporting a person who attacked a sovereign country that game nukes so that Russia would protect it.
