PS5 & Keyboard

I'm thinking of getting a back-lit keyboard for my PS5 for typing. But I am unsure, based on the PS4, if I would get marked as a person who uses keyboard & mouse with crossplay on Call of Duty.

Yeah, still want to get a keyboard and mouse for my PS5. The idea is I would use it for messaging but I want to use the controller for CoD.

I missed this thread so I will say that's a great idea for the new generation of consoles. As you are aware cross-platform will be the next gens take on gaming and this is taken more seriously with next gen then it has in all of history. Do you have any idea what's next? Virtual reality, more advanced then PS4 VR, but until that makes it's way they will come up with better ways to get a setup going. Mouse and keyboard, great idea and I might try this for my Series X when I get one. +Like

Even though I play on my PC from time to time, I still make use of controllers for my gaming because the keyboard and mouse isn't my favorite controllers.

It's a frequent misconception that not all wireless keyboards are compatible with PS5, so keep that in mind. I got a cheap logitech k400 for $20 and it works great

I think it's the same thing that my friend who lives in United Kingdom makes use of. I'm going to contact him again just to be very sure.

I have no business playing with keyboard when I'm playing on Playstation consoles. It's only on my PC that I play using keyboard and mouse.

I can't even wrap my head around the fact that there are gamers that will play games on consoles with the keyboard. For what reason exactly?

For something now, I have not played much on PC generally with keyboard and mouse, so they are usually rusty for me to play with. 

It's not something that I would be interested in playing with when I get Playstation 5.
