Price of New Games

New games can start at 70.00 in the USA. I try to wait for discounts before I buy.
I always wait for discounts too, the only problem with that is most of the time they don't discount the season pass even though they discounted the game. The only way they discount the season pass is if the game is on sale, and even then it's not usually much of a discount.

Price of games is crazy in 2024. I usually wait for them to go on sale in my PSN account before I add new games.

Yeah, you don't see passes on sale to much.

Same here - I wait for discounts before I think about buying a game. I've never paid $70 for any game and I don't plan to in the near future.

This was referenced in a thread about Steam, but there are many sales that occur that I can find myself accumulating a large backlog of games and by the time I get through it, the new game I've been wanting to play has already been discounted.

Now actually having time to play it is another obstacle...

This is a good strategy because it is not always about getting a game when it was released, but actually playing them. So, why would I be in a rush to buy a particular game when it was out?
