Plastics in the air

We all know that plastics are polluting the ocean, its a fact not an opinion, but now the air? Researchers in France found a ton of plastic particles in the air, raining down from the sky. These particles are so small you can't even see most of them, although some can travel through the air as large as a poppy seed. They can also be as dense as over 11 thousand particles in a square meter. These two factors combined is what makes this so potentially dangerous. These tiny bits of airborne plastics are created by any normal everyday use plastic items from water bottles, to even eye contacts. Even those little pouches of plastic beads to preserve food or keep bugs out creates small particulates in the air for us to breath in. Because most plastic is so light in weight, the air could be polluted wherever wind and water is potentially. Do they do damage to people? Well that is kinda difficult to say considering many humans have not been tested on heavily yet. Breathing anything in that's not normal air can't be healthy for you, let alone plastic! The micro plastic particles have been found to hurt animals like sea creatures, and different insect by blocking their intestines up. It's proving to be more and more dangerous every single day that it's not only the large pieces of plastic hurting our environments, plastic on the microscopic scale are just as big of a deal.

Do you think that this is an issue we should be tackling or is it just a waste of time, and resources?

To be honest all pollution needs to be dealt with but to me it seems like the pollution of green house gases seems to be much more important an issue to tackle then some plastic in the air. You know in China they have to wear covers on their mouths because the air pollution is so bad. If you watch a documentary on it you would see what I mean. The life span is also much shorter than the United States due to this. Plastic seems to be something that you definitely would not want to breathe in so I suppose it could be an issue to tackle however some of these companies like Duke Energy spilling all their coal ash into rivers with no concern for the environment and also other industries just spilling waste and polluting the air with toxins in my opinion seem much more important. Have you heard of chemtrails? You might want to search it to see what it is. It's basically these jets that go around polluting the air purposefully and you can still a jet line is supposed to be fairly straight but these trails left behind by some jet liners but it's easy to see that the trail left behind if it expands and falls further is actually not a normal jet trail

Supposedly Communism is supposed to tackle "the greed" problem causing pollution - but Communist nations were always huge polluters.

Oh trust me I agree, plastic isn't as serious of an issue as other air pollutants, China is horrible with this. I mainly made this article to make people more aware of different particulates in the air we breath. Buuuuuuuuuuuut as for your "chemtrails" i dont agree. Chemtrails are only a conspiracy, never proven to be true. Chemtrails are a man-made cloud that forms under otherwise ordinary environmental conditions. The underlying physical processes are the same as in cases involving any other clouds; the only difference is what mechanism starts them forming. High up in the atmosphere, where aircraft fly, temperatures can fall well below freezing even on a warm summer’s day. Generally, there is little water vapor present this far aloft, since air’s ability to hold moisture decreases as the temperature drops. Moreover, water vapor residing there is mostly “supercooled” — meaning that it remains in the gas or liquid state despite temperatures colder than Antarctica. Why does this moisture not immediately become ice? The answer lies in a process called nucleation. For water to form ice crystals, it has to have something to freeze onto. This can be a piece of dust, pollen, ash or any other particulate floating around in the upper troposphere. The trouble is that it’s really tough to mix ground-level matter all the way up there. But airplanes can serve that function. Now dont get me wrong im not saying airplanes dont pollute, they pollute a ton by flying back and forth. Im simply giving an explanation of why the man made clouds are there. As for the clouds that dissipate out that you claim to clearly not be normal jet trails... they are just not as dense and get blown around more due to the extreme wind speeds at higher altitudes.

The biggest issue I see with pollutants in the air (regardless of plastics and other forms of particulates), is that even if the government enforces needing to clean up processes to reduce those issues, it always seems to create new and just as destructive pollutants. If it worked the way it should have worked, the companies would account for the changes and would try to clean up as much of the potential issues as they can and able to, without having to be forced to fix as they go.

My truck has been down for half a year it seems. In that case, I've chosen to burn trash lately rather than attempt to move it.  Well, this could be bad news for my health, lol.   Anyway, I'm not too worried. I  mean, what isn't going to kill use these days, lol?

First time I hear about plastic in the air but it wouldn't be much of a surprise that there are a lot of them. We will either evolve to dissolve plastic in our bodies or die out, can't see a middle way.

Pollution is the order of the day in our world now. Look at how our sea have been polluted for years which puts sea animals at risk.

It's not just plastic that's in the air, a lot of rubbish is in the air and it's destroying our ecosystem.
