Who here is the outdoorsy type and loves walking in nature? Whether it is a beautiful nature reserve or national park, or simply your local park! It all counts.

I just love being outside so I will walk absolutely anywhere.

Feel free to share pictures here of walks you have been on throughout the great outdoors.

RE: Nature walks

My connection with the woods or nature wasn't half that bad in the past. Mainly because we would go into the woods to smoke pot. I don't smoke anymore and haven't for close to 10 years for the most part but there was something about some piff weed that really gave me a connection with outdoors and nature. Places I went was small mountain hiking and also just ordinary woods.

We live on wooded acreage. Very peaceful here. I unplug often & unwind by being outside. Tho I tend to be outside more in the summer. I walk quite often on the back of our property with our dog. Always find something new out there.

It's the best, you should not just stay indoors all the time, it really weakens your spirits and also your mental health, releasing daily stress over some activity you like is the best :p

Birds chirpin' and the sound of the wind hitting the trees nearby.. I shall post a pic of my next walk outdoors!

I love to go walking in the woods but I have to say I hate being outside! How weird am I?

I like going off the main trails onto lesser worn trails or even the deer trails to see if I can find anything exciting that not most people come across. Anyone who hikes with me is aware there is a chance we might get lost at some point but then I always find my way back!

1@Lämmchen[/uSER] going hiking in the mountains is when many people tend to get lost. It could end up like the shows on the history and discovery channel about people who almost died and somehow survived. Just be careful going hiking in the mountains. It's easy to find your way back in regular woods.

I don't go out to nature focused areas, but I do try and go out when the weather is nice for walks around my living area.

I do not walk that often, Other then going out to shop and have to walk to and from the carpark, I'm so bad. Even 5mins drive away into the Yorkshire moors. Where I live is full of walking tails. I live near the cost and farm lands  with horses around. Back in the day of being in collage I used to take 30 to 45mins to walk from twon to collage without taken the bus  and it was down and up hills

In the last couple of days now I've stayed completely indoors, just me and my phone, she surfing the internet. I know how damaging it will be, that's why I wouldn't forget to go warm up exercise soon. I am not that kind, that love's outdoor movement much.

I don't really have any pictures to share now but I can get that maybe by weekend. I really enjoy long night walks because it's when the weather is very cool to enjoy the walk.

RE: Nature walks

I love nature walks. Recently, I have moved to a city and there are no places where I can go for a peaceful walks, but when I live din my home town, I used to go on evening walk every alternate day. I got some of the best ideas when I was walking.

I decided to get myself a bicycle as well to use as well during my nature walks. If I feel like riding the bicycle, it's still part of the exercise.

Daily I spent at least an hour in my local park which is just 5mins away from home. Along with my family, we go by the wall, spent some time there. Spending time in the fresh air surrounded by nature feels healthy too.

I love to walk on the beach.  No matter even if it is crowded, I feel close to nature when the waves reach your feet and washes the sand beneath your feet.  I feel like my worries have been washed off.  I make it a point to go to the beach once a week and feel refreshed.

I love walking. I prefer to walk in the park or just about anywhere where you can enjoy natural greenery and beauty. I make it a point to find time for leisure walking daily early in the morning when you can hear birds chirping and enjoy watching the sun rise.

When it comes to working out for me, I prefer to walk than running because whenever I'm done with running, my ankles gets so sore and it's very frustrating.

I really like walking in the nature! It feels so relaxing and calm and the view is beautiful. Especially if you bring a friend with you, it could be really fun. Generally, I like being close to the nature, it relieves stress.

This is actually why I love it when it comes to exploring the beach. My feet upon the beach sand, the wave of the sea and water splashing on rocks.

RE: Nature walks

Love to walk around, love to go through a forest, but I haven't done it lately due to the cold and due to me being anxious most of the time nowadays .
