In a situation where you have been misunderstood, or heard wrong, or matter of fact the whole story was not heard, someone just got mad and hated, blocked you or whatever, Would you try to make amends?

Yes I would depending on the situation. First if the person you knew would never come around I would not. If you knew the person would come around immediately I definitely would. If you thought they would but only after a certain time period I'd say something to them one time and then give them some time to cool down.

Sure, I would love to clear my name if the situation called for it. But then there are always issues with doing so, especially right after an argument that may have caused it. I have had far more success in clearing my name awhile after the fact, over clearing my name soon after I knew it happened.

Everything depends on the person that going to be needing to know the real stuff that happened. If it's not someone that's worth the explanation, I'm definitely not going to stress myself about it.

My name is the most important thing in my life and I wouldn't like anyone to have a bad impression of me no matter how little it is. I will always make efforts to clarify anything that soils my name.

Seriously, when you have your name ruined, it's actually the worst thing that's going to happen to you because you are not going to have any value left anymore.
