I wish I was a PC gamer.

I only play CoD, so I'd only play multiplayer and the campaign but I wish I had got into pc gaming when I was younger. If I was a pc gamer, I wouldn't want to use a controller. If I can't do that because I'll be a bot basically.

I really only play S&D & Cyber Attack, so I'd cripple myself if I attempted that on PC.

I've considered becoming a PC gamer just recently with how much momentum it's obtaining the gaming community. It seems almost brilliant to me to setup my own rig but just haven't had the funds to do so. Considering I've found a great way to make money recently, if it goes as planned I may invest a bit in a gaming rig.

I thought most of us were PC Gamer at least at some point

I remember 20 years ago that was seen as a virus and people involved there were freaks of nature.. how times have changed..

You can still play COD with your keyboards. It hardly takes time to learn, but afterwards it becomes so easy to play around.
I too prefer playing PC games with my keyboard than controller (yes I have a joystick for PC also:LOL as it makes it very convenient to switch over to different tactics.

I think that playing with a controller reduces dramatically the speed of your reaction, what do you feel about this?

That actually depends on how much comfortable you're with your keyboard. From my school days, I have been playing in keyboard, so I prefer it more than controller.
The movement control is faster in keyboards, as you can click several directional buttons at a single time. I find it stiff to use thumbstick in that case.

For fighting games like Tekken or Street
Fighter, Controllers are better. Actually, I mostly play RPG games, and for that I prefer keyboard.

But since you are more into fighting genre, controller would be more suitable.

I'm also a COD fan, and I love playing on pc but yeah it's more expensive playing on a well built pc.

Kind of glad I never got into PC gaming, my hand would hurt from always holding a mouse. Plus who would want a huge Steam game backlog?

1@Demon_skeith[/uSER] I plan to get into PC Gaming before I die at least, even hardcore I would say. I want to play World of Warcraft. After getting hook on D&D Dark Alliance I now want to get into WoW. Just don't have a PC to run it.

It will be good that way that you own a gaming rig, having games stalled in your new Gen PC to enjoy the graphics and gameplay via PC.

With me, it really depends on the game being played. Some games are inherently easier to play on PC, while other games, you would need to change things up to play them well on the PC. And yes, getting a high end computer, does help with being able to play well on it, if playing games that require a fast paced environment, in addition to great graphics and processing power.

It's not a big deal becoming a PC gamer. Although, you might have challenges adapting to playing with mouse and keyboard but you can get a PC controller as well.

Just need the greatest and best hardware that you can need, even low to midrange is better and still can play whatever games that you want without spending the high cost. We all play games and wishing is easy.

There are definitely ways to making games a lot easier as long as it's got a settings to adjust the difficulty level of the game.

I feel same way too , I haven't really played a lot of games on PC and I have to in the past but I find I enjoy using handhelds or playing with table top Consoles than PC.
