Hunter x Hunter 2011

The Hunter x Hunter 2011 dub has almost been completed. There's about ~10 episode left. I don't like how old Gon is (iirc 10). I like the anime and have read some of thee manga so far. Does anyone like Hunter x Hunter 2011 and have you read the manga?

I am quite enjoying the anime so far (I'm a good way through the Chimera Ant arc). Without spoiling anything, what do you mean by you don't like how Gon is, I quite like his optimistic attitude and energy. Also if you've seen it, would you recommend the 1999 anime?

Yes, I've seen the 1999 version. That version is slightly different. I would say don't worry about watching it since you're watching the 2011. I don't like how Gon is like 10 and is able to do what he's doing. The Chimera Ant arc is by far the worst arc, imo.

I watched it all on Toonami's run of the show, I got to say it was slow in places but well worth the buildup and patience to see all the epic scenes later on. I'd say the Ant King vs Netero is still may favorite battle of the series.

I've also watched the movies, which are pretty entertaining, I hope one day this anime can continue.
