How many dvds/bluray?

I'm still one of those people that like to buy movies that I like, especially when I see them at a great price for like $5 -$10.

I currently have over 700 blurays and dvds.

How bout you? How many do you have? Do you still buy them? I know most people (at least most of my friends) don't buy movies anymore.

Nah, I don't use such type of collections these days. When I was in college, at that time I do use to collect such DVDs, but now a days everything is available in soft copies. Either you can download, or can watch them online. :giggle:

Yea, I enjoy watching online as well like on Netflix/Disney plus but I still enjoy buying my movies. It makes me feel like I'm supporting them I also like the cover art of the disc too.

Yeah. I can recall the excitement in my school days to collect those cover photos. I used to collect movies as well as game covers at that time.

I tend to just watch Netflix and stuff like that. It's rare I will have a DVD or Blue-ray. But a lot of people buy them on a regular basis and keep a collection. I have an uncle with a huge collection of DVDs. Though it makes for great entertainment when you have guests over.

I have a complete shelves filled with DVDs and I'm still buying. I think I'm a good collector when it comes to movies on DVDs. I should have more than 2000 copies.

Just can't even think to even count how many DVD films I have owned in the past 30 years. If I have to guess then it's over 180 odd DVDs and Blue rays are around ten or so. We are talking about long time ago bfore I had good connection for streaming networks. I go int other store and get DVDs.

Now, I keep them boxed up and watch whatever amazon or whatever streaming networks got to offer

Now, I keep them boxed up and watch whatever amazon or whatever streaming networks got to offer  

My father even have more DVDs than I do because he's always getting wrestling ??? on DVDs at least 2 DVD plates in a week. He doesn't play with Raw and Smackdown shows.

I still have some DVDs ,  But now a days I stream or I buy Blu-rays, if I really enjoyed the movie , like really, then I may buy a blu-ray.

No more DVDs or Blu-ray for me. I watch movies in the theatre if possible or just stream it online. It works out cheaper for me and saves space used to store these. The HD quality of online content have greatly improved. I am perfectly satisfied watching movies online.

Let me have you shocked there. You see Titanic, I still have it in cartilage and it still plays well like it's golden.

I don't even count mine but for something that I have used for at least over 10 years, I should have at least a minimum of 800 to 1000 or even more.

Yeah, it's why we have Netflix and Amazon Prime now. I can even feel more comfortable having any movie that I want downloaded and watched when I want.
