Home or theater?

RE: Home or theater?

Due to me having long legs, and due to me hating crowds, I prefer to stay at home and watch. Besides I don't want to be overcharged for popcorn lol.

There are some movies that I would always watch first in the theater first before I would resort to watching them on Netflix at home.

But generally, I prefer watching at home.

Watching at home will always be tops. You have that feeling that you can sleep off without bothering why it is so. I like watching at home too.

I would like to watch movies at home with friends and family. The theater cost me a lot
Yes, you're right. We pay higher than what we used to pay for watching movies now in the cinema.

Previously, I love to watch at the cinema but since the pandemic of coronavirus and after it, I find it more convenient to watch at home right now.

Whenever it is convenient for me to go to the cinema and enjoy a movie that I love so much, I will always make use of that option. When it is convenient for me to watch at home, I will easily make use of my Netflix or HBO Max or Disney+.

Streaming services have made it too easy for you to watch any movie or TV shows you like without having to break a sweat for it.

Correct. As long as you have your internet connection and your subscription paid for, you can be able to watch any movie and TV shows that you fancy that's available on your streaming app.

Yes, also I don't like being distracted whenever I'm watching movies. It's a very common thing that goes on in the cinema. Unfortunately, it can't be stopped.

It is why I am comfortable streaming movies at home instead of going to the theater because people will always misbehave there and make you be distracted when you are seeing a movie.

I’d say it’s a 70-30 split. 70% at home, where I can curate my movie nights and dive into my Netflix queue. 30% in theaters, for those grand spectacles that demand the silver screen.

I mostly watch movies at home. However, I like to watch movies in theaters once in a while, especially when the movie is cinematic or is from a well known directors or features well known actors.

Do you prefer to watch movies at home or in a movie theater? Why do you prefer that over the other?

If you do both, how often do you do each?

I am of the opinion that watching at home is better. I like my privacy and spending it at home is of high importance to me than going to be cinema to see movies.

Home you get better service.
Yes, you're absolutely right. Nothing feels good like being at home in your own comfort without worrying about anything else enjoying your favourite movies and TV shows.

I love theatre experiences!

In fact, I am quite a movie buff that I make it a point to watch most movies in theaters as long as time permits me. I have this particular proclivity to watch English movies, especially superhero movies in theatres.

Imagine watching Avatar in a TV at your home! Its a big no-no for me.

I can't think of any reason why one's home isn't going to be feel better and a lot more comfortable for watching movies. Home means a peaceful place.
