I used to love Goosebumps as a kid! How does the new show compare to the old books or the original TV series? Is it creepy, funny, or a mix of both?

I used to love Goosebumps as a kid! How does the new show compare to the old books or the original TV series? Is it creepy, funny, or a mix of both?

Mix of both and this one is more young adult orientated. For example in New Zealand the new season is rated M for mature audiences.

I haven't watched it yet but if it's on Hulu, I will definitely watch it because I have their subscription paid for already.
