Game of Thrones ending was a bit controversial but it's not very bad. If they let Danny live, it would have been like letting the mad King live.

Game of Thrones never lacked content. It was worth the whole 8 seasons.

She ended up becoming the queen of ashes which she didn't want to. Unfortunately, they had to end her life because she was about to go on a rampage which nobody has ever seen before.

I don't think the end of Game of Thrones matters now because from what George RR Martin said, there is always a tragic ending with the life of Targaryens.
