My first ever game console was the Sega Master System 2 with Alex Kidd built in. It was released in 1990 but i'm sure it was bought for me in either 1991/92. I do have some memories of playing the Commodore64 but it wasn't mine.

What was your first ever game console? Be it handheld or home console?

Hi!,

My first console was the Super Nintendo, it was around 1994-1995. My first handheld console was the green screened GameBoy. then came the GameBoy Advance SP.

I also played the old NES but i guess it was a clone since my older brother messed up the original by plugging the 110v input in a 220v output.

First console was also a SNES. Then a gameboy color. I'm almost 30 years old so I remember when they first came out. I was just a small kid but very excited. Sometimes I wonder what kids think as children these days when the graphics are so much better.

The Nintendo Wii brings back many good memories; this was my first console. This was before my teenage years, and some of the games in my collection included: Skylanders, Wii Fit, and my all-time favorite. Mario Kart.

It's really hard for me to accept that the people i know started with a much newer console than me lol.

I had the original playstation. I remember playing hours of Gex: Enter the Gecko and Metal Gear Solid, on it.

Sega Master System 2 here as well, I loved Alex the Kidd and Sonic. I could play for hours now still.

Another Sega Master System II here, very closely followed by a NES - my parents were divorced and we'd got bought them the same Christmas.

I have fond memories of obtaining all six emeralds in the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time, before I knew about guides or anything.
