RE: Dollar bill folding secrets

I find it interesting the twin towers are on almost all the bills if you fold it the right away, at least from looking at the video. That's quite insane. I could clearly see what he was talking about.

My country uses polymer banknotes. Sometime this year I got a $1 U.S. banknote and wow. I could never imagine folding the U.S. banknotes on purpose like that. Polymer banknotes are way better. Polymer banknotes > Paper Banknotes

I think I have seen someone do this before, but still neat to see again.

Why is that? the only thing that it's like "better" is that you can fold it and it won't leave a visible mark. Other than that, the paper banknote looks more appealing to the eye.

The banknotes also last longer. And the banknotes in my country and Canada look better. IMO, the U.S. needs to replace the paper banknotes.

In my opinion - No form of money is better then the American Dollar. Even though it's an opinion I would push to say that's just a simple fact. The next best is GBP and that can be said with certainty. One day we will need a new form of currency. The Queen of England could design it. She'd be the only person who would have a chance at doing it right.

I'm not talking about the value of the money, I'm talking about material used.

How the material looks is what I was referring to. Not the material itself. There's only 1 way they could do better is make it more goldish like on the twenty and one-hundred dollar bills. They've been doing that a lot more with most of the circulation. That subject to debate and I will admit merely my opinion though I believe it's a decent one.

The Polymer banknotes also have better security, at least with Australian banknotes.

How they look? It's hard to replicate a dollar bill so that's the only security that really should matter in all honesty. If you mean how it looks being more secure I suppose... How does Australia create more security for it?

RE: Dollar bill folding secrets

Talking about bills, i used to have ye olde 100 dollars bill (before the blueish ones) and our currency changers wouldn't take them since they have to send it to the federal reserve to change them and the comission is high.. so i sold'em to Argentinian peeps and i was highly praised lol, got pretty nice deals with it (it's only valuable when you've got something to do there lol)

Anyway, i couldn't really care less about paper money, i never have more than 100 dollars in my pocket. I keep change and everything i pay with my Debit Card.

1@Laifot[/uSER] What kind of money did you make off it? That's interesting to hear. My uncle (related by marriage) is from South America around Chile and the Andies Mountains. I wonder if they gave you a good deal.

around 140% its value here but it's only worth it when you're travelling abroad, it's little money compared on what you spend by going there. earning 100-150 dollars back won't save it all.

RE: Dollar bill folding secrets

I've heard about the whole "dollar bill folding" thing before, but I've never actually seen it. Whilst I didn't necessarily agree with the $5 dollar bill being the twin towers, it's hard not to see the similarities in the others!
