Have any of your wishes come true?

I remember a song when I was a kid: Star light, star bright, First star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have this wish I wish tonight.

Honestly, I still find myself wishing on them whenever I see one. I don’t have much proof that they do grant wishes but then there’s nothing like Positive Thinking to release endorphins.

I used to always make a wish on seeing shooting star during my childhood and frankly I don't remember any wish coming true. Realising that this was another yarn, an exaggerated misinformation to confuse and misguide young minds, I stopped doing it. In some parts of the world they say seeing a shooting star brings bad luck. So, I mean, there are lots of stories behind shooting star. Its just a natural phenomenon happening in outer space. If you see it, just enjoy the moment.

A Shooting Star is a rare and a special occasion and when we experience it it's a experience of lifetime. During that excited period when we make a wish our mind will process it much better and will bring it to fruition.

When we close our eyes and pray or wish without sound we are praying and wishing to our self.

And We are responsible to make our wishes come true.

Yup i have done it twice but no wishes were fulfilled. Stopped doing that as of now.

I still remember my days, when we believe in these things. But now the time have changed. I don't believe in such things anymore, only hard work and determination will give us what you want, luck is only a small factor.

Haven't done so in a number of years, but I do love watching shooting stars, as I am able to sit outside when it is night time. I do love seeing the stars, and wondering what could be going on in the universe.

No. I don't believe in wishing on shooting stars. Why would I desire for a shooting star when I have complete control over my own fate? That is modern man's power; if you want something, you can obtain it if you move quickly. You don't need to wish on a shooting star to achieve what you want any longer.

I don't believe I've seen a shooting star in my life, but I used to make random wishes hoping that there's one in the sky at night when I was a kid.

I wished to be a super hero. Unfortunately, that wish never came true

As I kid we used to lay on the terrace and do a lot of sky gazing.  Shooting stars were a common sight then.  I remember making wishes but I think it was very stupid of me to do so.  Nowadays, hardly get to see any shooting stars in the sky.

It's quite hard to spot a shooting star. I have neither seen anything like that nor wished it. But I have heard stories that from ancient times, it is believed that wishing upon a shooting star makes the wish come true for a long time.

I did see a shooting star once and what I wished was to see another shooting star which hasn't come true yet so there is that.

Yes, during my younger days, i always wished when I see a shooting star. I don't know how many had their wishes granted. But nothing for me. These days the sky always seems so bright probably reflection of the development here on ground level that it is just impossible to see stars, leave alone shooting stars from our place.
