Yeah - you can suffer burnout from gaming especially if you overdo it. Sometimes, it's best to take a break and do something else.
Those scholars who said that too much of everything isn't healthy are not wrong. Yes, playing video games can be fun but when it's take over the limit, you will start having diminishing returns.

I have seen where some people use playing video games as a form of therapy for some of their mental health issues. Video games are very important in our lives.

This is right. Anyone that says playing games ain't therapeutic is not saying the truth. Playing games have been helpful to me and I learnt a lot from gaming.

It applies to everything in life. Balance is a must or it'll all end in ruin.

Facts. Anything which you are doing without having a balances always going to be dysfunctional which is the reason why you need to get a grip and balance your life so that things will work out well.

This is the reason why when it comes to therapy, your counselor is always going to ask you to some things about the things you like to enjoy doing because they will find a way to see if that is going to help and solve whatever problem you are facing mentally.

I don't think I would ever quit gaming. It's one of my favourites way to relax after a hard day. I've been playing video games for more than 10 years now, and I've gotten so used to it. I can't give it up.

With the kind of satisfaction I get from playing video games, it is going to be very difficult for me to drop it because I know it is almost going to be impossible for me to find another thing that is going to replace video games for me.
