Do you think you would ever quit gaming?

Video Games is among on of the ways I like to enjoy my time and k have Been playing videogames since I was kid so I don't think I would ever quit.

At least, I should be at the age of 80 years plus before I should be thinking about quitting playing video games.

Maybe when you're old enough, you will be able to see yourself quit playing. It might stop being of interest to you.
We can't be young forever. Old age is something that we can't actually avoid and some people won't even get to old age before they die. I will spend more time with my grandkids and great grandkids than playing videogames.

I didn't think I would ever quit gaming. But I did quit 2 months ago because I was playing Elder Scrolls Online 70+ hours a week on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. It started to drive me crazy and make me angry and depressed at the same time. So I quit video games all together, at least for now and hopefully for good.

P.S. I sold my Xbox and PS5, and it was the best decision that I ever made.

I'll never fully quit. I'll probably be playing NHL when I'm a old man.

I have been a gamer since I was around three years old and even now I still love to play video games.

I don't believe I will ever quit playing video games and will still be playing them when I am a lot older.

I'm not sure if I would quit playing video games permanently. I may stay off gaming for sometime which I've done a few times but later get back to start playing again.

Not a chance. I mean, I've taken breaks from it during very difficult situations in my life, but I've never thought of stopping altogether. I've been gaming since I was about 3 years old, and I'm now in my 30s.

Playing video game is something that is so much entertaining which makes it very difficult for most people to leave it at their own will. It is only when the situation is difficult for them to control that they will be forced to leave playing video games.

Taking a break from playing video games from time to time is even good and healthy for gamers especially when you're not a pro gamer playing for money. You need the time out once in a while.

Agreed - sometimes, things happen in life that you need to prioritize. I also find that taking a break improves my performance in certain games once I resume playing.

This is so true. There is a way you will end up playing game consistently, you will start having wear and tear and whenever you take some time off so that your body is going to recover, you will get back to the game being stronger.

There is no reason for me to quit gaming. I mean, why should I be thinking about quitting gaming when there are a lot of benefits that I can get from playing games most of the time?

Oh, definitely not! Gaming is such a big part of my life, and I can't imagine ever giving it up. It's not just about the games themselves, but also the sense of community, the creativity, and the endless possibilities for exploration and discovery. Plus, there's always something new and exciting on the horizon in the gaming world. So, as long as there are games to play and experiences to be had, you can count on me sticking around as a dedicated gamer!

Play video game is all about having fun and being entertained in the process and it's something I can actually do as a stress reliever which is why I will always keep doing it until I can no longer be able to play as a result of health issues or anything otherwise.

Yeah - you can suffer burnout from gaming especially if you overdo it. Sometimes, it's best to take a break and do something else.

Agreed. The major one being it's such a reliable source of entertainment - granted, some multiplayer games are filled with toxic people like trolls but I've survived MW2 lobbies on the Xbox 360 so they don't bother me as much.

I used to play video games consistently without taking a break but when I found out how good it is for me to take a break once in a while, I had to make it a priority to take a break at least twice in a year.

I have thought about it so many times. I already have gotten to the point where I don't really play new games, but I do find myself going back to older games. Even so, the toxicity that I encounter in gaming communities makes me question why I play.

I don't see myself quitting gaming either. I see it as having fun and that is what a lot of people should begin to see it as well.

I have seen where some people use playing video games as a form of therapy for some of their mental health issues. Video games are very important in our lives.
