Microsoft is trying to take monopoly of the gaming industry. They are buying up companies in a way that gives them more access to games and power in the industry.

They recently purchased Activision Blizzard for approximately $70 billion and that pushed Sony into buying Bungie for $3.6 billion. It's not anywhere near what Microsoft paid for Activision.

No matter what Microsoft tries to do in the video game world, they would never be allowed to have full control of the gaming industry.

They are yet to have full ownership of Activision Blizzard yet even after agreeing and paying $70 billion. There are regulatory bodies that are yet to sanction the deal after their investigation. Sony will always be here to checkmate Microsoft activities.

Making games isn't really monopoly when the owner of microsoft has the rights to the games already. I can see that any purchase of an internet company when you have one or merging them is a monopoly. If Microsoft was bought by Sony it would also be one. The fact that he just wanted to choose how the games were laid out I assume is why or maybe wanted to hire his own developers.

I don't think Sony are threatened in any way by the recent acquisition by Microsoft. Sony has made name for themselves and most gamers that I know around here will always pick the Sony Playstation console over the Xbox. So, this is no big deal at all.

If Microsoft really want to pose a threat to Sony would be making attempt on trying to purchase the company but that is not happening and I am not sure it is ever going to happen in the gaming industry. Sony is a very big company on its own and I am sure that they are going to survive for a very long time in the business.

You are very correct about Microsoft not being announced as the owner of Activision Blizzard right now because I have waited for the update for a very long but there is nothing yet to confirm that they have sole ownership of the company.

It is true that Microsoft can be able to purchase Sony right now but they are not going to follow that path because it is going to be impossible for them to buy Sony. Sony won't even agree to sell.

One of the reason why it is very easy for Microsoft to be growing with the pace that they are into is simply because they are not only into video games just like the way Sony is invested only in video games. They have multiple streams of income which makes them topple Sony very easily.

Microsoft and Song will ride out the competition in the gaming business till the end. Sony wouldn't give Microsoft any breathing space to swallow them up and Microsoft would be doing everything possible to be on top. Their competition is good for us.

I know that it's only going to be a matter of time until everything is sorted out and they will be announced as the full owner of Activision Blizzard. They won't spend $70 billion to be cut out dry by a breach of law.

One of the reason why it is very easy for Microsoft to be growing with the pace that they are into is simply because they are not only into video games just like the way Sony is invested only in video games. They have multiple streams of income which makes them topple Sony very easily.

I read an article about Microsoft accusing Song of bribing some game studios not to allow their games come to Game Pass. I'm not sure if it's true because that's going to be very difficult to agree upon my other studios and Sony.

I enjoy using both the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, currently I have a PlayStation 4 and and Xbox series X console.

I feel the two consoles are doing really since they both have a huge amount of Loyal fans that patronise and use their Consoles.
