Do you find playing games on mobile phones boring?

I was discussing with a friend of mine at work last week and he's opinion that playing video games on mobile phones is a boring exercise for him but I completely disagree with him.

Mobile phones are perfect handheld for video games and it's the fastest growing video game platform today. Even consoles and PC games are being ported to mobile platforms now.

Not at all, mobile phone gaming is one of the best no doubt. You play games anywhere you are, you don't have to fear for power outage issues when it comes to saving your progress in the game. I enjoy playing games on my mobile at the moment than in my console due to power issues.

I actually have a 27,000 mAh power bank which helps to support my smartphone battery. There's no way my smartphone would ever go off whenever I'm playing video games with it because I'm well prepared for it.

The portability of moblie gaming sets it apart.

Now, that makes it two people that felt the same way about mobile phone games being boring.

You're very correct about games on Nintendo handheld - The Switch being a blast. Gaming on Switch is definitely better.

I enjoy playing games on my smartphone especially when I'm stuck in a place that I'm no longer interested in being. My mobile games always works as a perfect distraction. I can't do without my mobile games.

My mood decides the kind of game that I'm going to be playing. If I'm looking for a game to light up my mood, it's never going to be a boring game. I don't see any platform games as boring, it depends on what the gamer wants to play.

If playing video games is going to look as a sign of disrespect to those I am with at the moment, I am going to resort to play music with my phone. You are very right about video games serving as a perfect distraction in such situations.

When I don't have anything to contribute in the discussion that's going on, I don't think that there's anyone who's going to bother if I'm playing video games at that time or not.

Yes please, I will never be very comfortable with playing video games on mobile phones. I can manage playing on Nintendo Switch as a handheld device but not on my smartphone.

I don't find mobile games boring because you can play games whenever you want, where ever you want. There are a lot of games to play and if you do not like the game, you can always choose another.

Nintendo switch is one of the biggest handheld platforms where you can play video games and I've never seen anyone who played video games on Nintendo switch that never liked it.

Yes, that's very correct about Nintendo Switch console. I have played several good games on it and I enjoyed it more than how I did on any smartphone.

This is because, I'm the one that buy and download the games to begin with. So, I can't download a boring game to play.

Sometimes when I can't play videogames on my Consoles I just play on my mobile phone.

I have a few games like temple run, candy crush and sub way surfers.

I actually got a handheld console but I wouldn't always take it everywhere with me just like I would with my mobile phone.

The only way most people see playing games on their smartphone to be very boring is when their smartphone isn't good enough to carry the game.

This makes the game to hang and even the smartphone to overheat.

Video games in general are interesting unless maybe you are not really a fan of video games.

Mobile video games are no different from console video games but in this case you are playing it with your mobile phone.

I'm playing video games on my Asus ROG Phone 6 and I'm really enjoying it. It's a great smartphone for playing video games and I'm not finding it boring.

I don't think a platform will make a game boring, I believe the game it self can be boring or interesting. I play Asphalt legends and I really enjoy playing this game on my mobile device.
