Not sure what i've done to my shoulder, but for the past 3 weeks i've been in pain, more so last week, I had to do the last 3 days of the week on 300mg painkillers + ibrufin. - 2 days rest, pain was gone but come work the next day, I think I lasted an hour?

Doctor thinks i've pulled something and gave me 600mg painkillers and signed me off from work to rest.. the thing is, it's barely hurt all week, except today.. seems to be work related lol.

I thought I would be entitled to statuary sick pay, but work have emailed me saying they have requested an SSP1 form for me, which after looking it up is a standard goverment benefits request form for when i'm off sick for more than 2+ weeks at a flat rate of 90 squid per week.

back to work Thursday as I need the money during these tough times.. i'll have to dose up to ease the pain. - might go doctors again some time next week as they said if it's still hurting by then to pop in.

RE: damn shoulder

It's unfortunate that your in so much pain. Those pain killers will probably help your shoulder feel better though so that's definitely a plus. It could be possible you pulled a muscle while sleeping which happens to people once in a while. I've woken up before sore because I slept on the wrong side of the bed so to say. If you don't remember how it happened that may be it. I hope you feel better.

We believe it's more work related considering I work in a warehouse.

Yeah I wasn't aware of that. That is probably what it is. I hope you feel better soon.

RE: damn shoulder

hi, i'm no doctor but for what i read, this seems to be a bit more serious so you should check yourself whenever you can, i know these times are stressful and all that and maybe your case could be associated to it, my blood pressure is a bit high and have casual headaches because of this..

Maybe some ultrasound?

RE: damn shoulder

I hate it when some doctors prescribe drugs without proper examination. You should gone for x-ray to be very sure about what's causing you the pain before getting any drugs.
