I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't until December or later before things settle down. People keep comparing it to the flu and saying more people die from the flu. While true in the long-term, this virus kills more people in the short-term. It's a very scary, almost duplicate of the virus from Contagion, which is probably why the movie gained a bunch of popularity during the early days of stay-at-home orders.

A simple flu wouldn't cause a world lockdown.

Maybe if the vaccine or a very positive treatment consolidates we could see things going back to normal sooner.

I never thought this could spread so much around the world, the numbers are frightening and my environment are starting to get it

I'm pissed that people dying of other causes are being listed as a coronavirus death.

At least, 3 persons that I know in person have died from the virus. Two of them are old about 70 years of age and the other one was 42 years old. Even with the vaccine, I'm still freaked out.
