Confederate Statute Removal

I don't like the snowflake culture of being oversensitive and banning "The Dukes of Hazzard" lol.  Nonetheless, why should taxpayers have to pay for monuments - basically honoring a government that fought for slavery?   There is definitely a good reason why people, African American taxpayers especially, shouldn't want to pay money, better spent on schools, national defense, tons of better reasons.
