Building a gaming room

I got inspired from watching a lot of youtube videos on people's gaming room setup. Search it up if you want and you'll see how cool some of them have turned their rooms into a gaming room. I want to do the same.

I have PC (I plan on getting a new gaming PC sometime in the near future) a gaming steering wheel, joystick, I have a PS4 and a Oculus Quest 2.

I'll need to get a gaming monitor, LED lighting, good stereo sound speakers, etc.

This brings me to my question. Do you have a gaming room? What kind of equipment do you have for it?

RE: Building a gaming room

You can also get an xbox series X sound bar for surround sound if your not too intent on putting speakers in your room though most people do. We moved houses so can't say much yet but I enjoy my 4K tv which has incredible quality. I want to get a gaming PC myself actually. Also speaking of the Oculus Quest 2, I thought about it hard and will probably buy one soon. Saw some previews for it.

Your 4K tv sounds nice! Yea man you would love the Oculus Quest 2 it's so much fun! I play mine almost every day!

What kind of gaming PC are you looking for? I'm curious to know I've been doing a lot of research myself on what one to buy. I will probably wait until Black Friday to see if I can score a good deal on a gaming PC.

RE: Building a gaming room

I'm a game lover, I don't joke with it since my childhood days. That made me to transform my passion into business by owning a game shop. I have 3 play station 4 I'm hoping to add one PS5 before the year ends. I'm saving up to acquire it, its just quite expensive. Someone told me is above 500$USD.

Making my shop a gaming room will make sense too, I'll be considering adding the features you and 1@TopSilver[/uSER] said.

I want to watch those videos, but they would make me way too jealous at the moment, maybe when I'm able to build my own gaming room.

I want a PC that can run the HTC Vive. I still don't have VR but by all means if I ever invest the money into a gaming PC, it would primarily be for this exact, number one reason - Virtual Reality. Yeah and for the Oculus Quest I will at some point check it out.

Well, I would need a large apartment or house to make anything happen and currently lacking either one.

I would love to build a gaming room if I had a spare room to convert into one, honestly. I'd double it as my streaming room as well and make sure I had enough room for a few Arcade1UP machines.

Having arcade machines would be cool. Pinball machines?

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll be moving over to YouTube to check on that and have clear view how a gaming room is arranged.

RE: Building a gaming room

I used to have a few things for gaming, then the items got damaged. Had several speakers, joysticks and a steering wheel and pedal. Loved using them all. I now have the space to go and restart gaming with all the gadgets. Need to save up first for the computer that can handle the stuff I want to eventually get.

RE: Building a gaming room

I haven't got much of a gaming room. Although, I have a couch and my gaming laptop that I can play on, on my lap, without the need to go to a desk. That's one of the advantages of gaming on a laptop in comparison to a desktop! Are gaming rooms expensive to design and implement generally speaking?

RE: Building a gaming room

Anything simple is all I care for when it comes to my gaming set up. I'd like it to easy for me to play, get in and get out games.
