Being old and not being able to do the things that you used to do can be mentally disturbing. Have you been in a situation where you are afraid of getting old?

RE: Are you afraid of getting old?

Never, I don't think about my old age, I know it will come over test of time. At the moment, I'm taking my time to enjoy my youthful time, and not thinking about what the future holds during my old age.

Getting old is a blessing. It's even written in the Bible. I would love to get old like my grandmother. She died at the age of 98 years old.

I will never be afraid of getting old because it is something that we all look forward to.

We don't want to be buried by our parents but we are the ones that are supposed to bury our parents.

I am not afraid of getting old but I am afraid of appearing old. I cannot imagine myself with a bald head, wrinkles all over my face, and bent back.

I always get scared of having a bald head. I cannot imagine the stress that is involved in having this kind of thing. Wrinkles are fine though.

Getting old doesn't fright me in any way. In fact, I'm looking forward to getting old to see how I'm going to be.

This is good. There are people that start to get scared when getting old is mentioned and I wonder if they want to remain young forever.

Jay Z sang a song that's titled Forever Young. Some people do want to be Forever Young but for me, I'd like to get old very well.

Embracing old age is nothing bad. Those kicking against old age don't even know what nature is all about.

The day getting old scares me would be the day that I'm going to die. Fear is a big killer.

The only problem with getting old is that you are going to be suffering from different kind of health challenges which one of is Alzheimer. There's only few old people that don't get to suffer from series of health complications.

This!

It's a big problem that can give someone a serious worry and anxiety. Being with a messed up health is not something funny.

Not at all - Aging is a part of life just like death is. It doesn't make sense to fear something that is inevitable. We'll all age and die someday.

Being I am the age I am at the moment and I already have health issues that prevent me from doing certain things, I will admit that getting older does worry me and how getting older will impact my health in the future.

It can be very difficult at times when you sit down to evaluate now how your health issues will keep pulling at you until you're dead, it can be depressing.

It can, that is very true. I am someone who tends to keep going as much as I can even though sometimes it may be too much, get that from my parents.
