I'll need about 3g for a custom gaming PC (monitor included)

Already got a monitor, Acer Predator X34p. It’s a 34 inch ultrawide display

I've been playing a lot of old school video games lately, have you tried Blood? it's a game from 1997 and quite the contender for a legendary FPS along with Doom and Duke Nukem.

Ehh.. I still prefer console gaming, although I do at least now have a fairly capable PC for playing a few games :giggle:

I definitely find that PCs lend themselves better to RTS style games.

Depends on your gaming taste. If you're into competitive games console is not your thing, you always get a better gaming experience in high refreshing rates monitors than a regular TV, to get one you'll need to invest a nice amount of money and won't even make it a decent experience..

Speaking of a nice amount of money, because of Coronavirus and BitCoin mining, the price of GPUs have gone up. So no joke if I want a good gaming pc (with some overkill), it will cost me a minimum of A$4,000. That's not including the monitor or keyboard and mouse. There's a GPU I want that cost $2k, so if I got that I'd be looking at A$6-8K.
I'd like a 144hz 1ms 4k monitor, well 2 but I'd probably just get one at first.

I mainly play CoD. But I play Overwatch, GTA and some single player games as of late.

I'm a console gamer so PC gaming doesn't interest me that much, to be honest. I do play Euro Truck Simulator 2 and ATS from time to time on my laptop though because there isn't a game like that on console.

1@Ash[/uSER] so am I but I am also now interested in PC gaming due to Virtual Reality because that's where all the action is for VR these days. The best 2 headsets out are for PC and are between $800-1000 but there's one that just came out called the Oculus Quest 2 that is a standalone console and also PC compatible. It's more affordable at $300-400 and I was thinking about getting it. For lower spec PCs, that's what you want. I still haven't invested in a gaming PC but really want to soon. I play Yugioh and Pokemon TCG on PC and enjoy it.

HERE (y)

I'm only into PC gaming, I used to have a PlayStation but even so, I still play games and all games on PC :) All over 250 PC games that I can pick and end of the day I on;y do three or less every week :P

RE: Anyone like PC gaming?

I've been playing COD warzone on my pc and Valorant sometimes.

RE: Anyone like PC gaming?

When it comes to gaming I'm into it, I enjoy PC gaming. But I played it earlier on. Since I don't have a PC now I never had to play the games again.

RE: Anyone like PC gaming?

I enjoy playing on PC every now and then. Helps kill the time. I know that I eventually I want to get a PC built for gaming. I know for sure that when I do get around to getting a full blown gaming rig, I want to get network attached storage along with it.

RE: Anyone like PC gaming?

I don't see what's not to like. You have the option of keyboard+mouse and controllers.

I'd prefer play certain indie games on consoles/handhelds though.

There are so many interesting games that you can enjoy playing on PC and not only Call of Duty series. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a good option.

RE: Anyone like PC gaming?

As I mentioned in a few other threads, I love pc gaming, it's easier to customize a desktop, it's easier to play with keyboard and mouse and it is easier to find games for cheap for the pc also pirating lol

RE: Anyone like PC gaming?

PC gaming was during my school and college days......LOL! But yeah this is the easiest way for gamers to play their game with all the controllers.

RE: Anyone like PC gaming?

Apart from mobile games on my phone, I play games on PC. I don't own a console and to be honest, I wouldn't buy one. Some of the games I play are available only for PC and all of my friends play on PC too. I also prefer mouse & keyboard controls over joystick, much more precise movements.
