Anyone heard of the Social Media Platform Ello?

It's a new social media platform that was trying to replace facebook. I was wondering if anyone think they may have a chance? The platform needs work and doesn't seem realistic to ever pull that off though some were saying it had the best chance at being the one every moves to like what happened with myspace

No, I haven't heard of that one. I joined MeWe over the summer because people on my friends list were saying they were leaving Facebook. So far I only have 2 friends who post there on occasion though so it's pretty dead. If it weren't for my relatives who post photos I'd leave Facebook in an instant.

Never heard of it, and I can't imagine anyone replacing Facebook any time soon.. That's not to say that it couldn't happen, you only have to look back to Myspace to know that.

The same was being said about Parler until recently, but with the bad press (whether founded or not) I'd say it's unlikely..

I think i heard it somewhere, this was started to fight privacy i believe. But Facebook has become a huge giant and it won't make users to jump to Ello.

I too never heard of this site. Actually there are so many of this kind, and people think it is a rival of Facebook.

It will take ages for a newcomer to gain that much fame in this category. There are already hundreds of them, but they don't have that huge userbase like Facebook.
