Angels

Does anyone believe in Angels? Has anyone ever seen in angel or had possibly a guardian angel protect them.

My mother told a story one time about being at a McDonalds and some guy behind her was about to rob her car but there was an african american angel that got her attention and helped her get out. I'm positive it was an angel as what she describes she says HAD TO BE. Because she saw him vanish before her own eyes.

I believe it was the angel Raphiel though no one knows. Ever been protected by one or had your life saved? Or do you at least believe they are real?

I think world of the god and the realm is too complicated to have angels. I think bible is dramatic on that one. I am sure those angels could be living as meta gods who are governing the world and then responding to central god. If world is a grand design, I am damn sure angels must be meta gods working under main god.

In my personal belief 1@Nova[/uSER] angels had their chance, hence the creation of demons. The grand design intrigues me as well but "meta gods" or disobedient entities in my opinion may have something more to do with aliens. Seems that it makes sense to me 1/3 would leave Heaven and become demons leaving the pure behind. Who knows but it is interesting. I believe my guardian angel to be the Metatron.

Many times I have experienced some strange happenings wherein you feel there is someone guarding you, looking over you and making sure to keep you safe, that you don't get hurt. I am not sure if it is the Angels who is protecting me. But there is something in this universe which is beyond our imagination and understanding.

We're smaller than ants in the grand scope of the universe, I doubt there is anything out there protecting an individual person.

I was raised on Hindu culture and in Hinduism there are no angels. There are gods, goddesses, deities and demigods, who time-to-time come to earth to help humans but there are no angles likes those mentioned in Christianity or Judaism. I follow Hinduism, therefore, I believe there are gods, goddesses, deities, and demigods, however, I am not sure if they actually help humans.

I wish we had real Angels to protect our dear planet from all the misfortune it's going through. I do want to believe in Angels. Its really comforting to know that you are looked after 24x7 and that no harm will come to you. For me, my Angel was my mother who always  showered me with unconditional love and making sure that I am safe from harm's way. I do sometimes feel she still is watching over me from heaven.

The Bible speaks of angels.  Nonetheless, it doesn't mention guardian angels and a lot of specific details about angels.  People are pretty much left to imagination.  Also, it doesn't mention gender of angels, even though some fundamentalists say, and rightly so, that all angels in the Bible are male.   Well, I'm not exactly sure on this.

There is definitely a world full of good and evil spirits. The bible says that's the case. Also, the Christian is involved in a daily battle in this "Cold War" of sorts.

I think most of the world's religions talk about good and evil spirits. If you believe in God, you also got to believe in Devil ad God and Devil are two faces of the same coin, right?

I find it easy to believe in evil spirits, but way tougher to believe in the idea of a Christian heaven. It's because I've seen so much damage by evil.

I am not a Christian, and I belong to Hinduism. However, I also do not believe in the kind of heaven mentioned in Hindu books. I do not think heaven and hell is outside this world where we live in.
