Having ads in free to play video games is something that's very common. You can't have them without ads because it's a way they make money too.

Would you pay for ads to be removed from your free to play games?

RE: Ads in free games

If I'm playing free games, I don't worry about ads in such video games. It's a very common thing on mobile games. I have played some games with ads and I had the patience with playing it.

You can't do anything about those ads in free games. The developers try to make money by selling those ads and since you don't pay a dime in purchasing the game, you've got to endure.

RE: Ads in free games

This is one of the reasons why I have no intention of playing free games often.

I play them once in a while and the ads can be annoying.

RE: Ads in free games

Definitely, their is no way a game creator will spend so much time creating video games and making it worth playing and not making money from his or her hard work. It isn't possible, even the so-called free to play games gets sponsorship deals for promotional purposes, and companies pay them for advertising their products via their video game as more people discover them.

RE: Ads in free games

Paying for ads removable is the same as buying a game. If I can spend money to buy a game, I can also spend money to play in an ad-free environment, however, this all depends on the kind of games I am playing, and whether I am enjoying the game or not.

As someone that have played lots of free games, I have seen ads in games as normal ways that game makers use to make money. There is nothing you can do to change that.

This is very correct. Why play a free game and pay for ads to be removed? Why not just buy full price games and play without the ads plastering all over.

I don't think it is that easy for gamers to do this. At first, they think they can play through the ads when playing free games.

Ads will always be used in free games. If ads are not used, heavy microtransactions will be used too.

Fortnite made $3 billion profit for Epic Games in 2018.

I won't pay for ads to be removed in free games. I'm very used to having them in free games.

They are supposed to make money from their free games one way or another. Ads won't even pay them more like microtransactions.

How ads are used in free games can be very annoying but it's something that can't be stopped because ads and free game's are inseparable.
