Is it the story, the gameplay mechanics, or maybe the sense of nostalgia? Whether it's grinding in an MMO, mastering combos in a fighting game, or exploring every corner of an open world, something keeps us hitting "Start" again and again. For me, it's games with deep lore, unique characters and rewarding progression systems. What about you? What hooks you and keeps you coming back for more?

The need for me to complete the game will always bring me back to the game until it's done and dusted. Once I've completed the game, it will be very difficult to get back into it unless it's exceptional.

For me, it's the sense of discovery. Open-world games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild hook me with the promise of uncovering secrets, hidden treasures, and breathtaking vistas.

For me, I like both the gameplay and the plot. I also like games with great characters and an amazing world. Additionally, I come back to games if I pass a very difficult levels that seemed almost impossible to beat.

I agree. It was the same thing with playing Red Dead Redemption 2. I kept coming back to the game even after having a 100% completion.
