They have a free editing software and a youtube channel with a ton of tutorials and the software will help teach you the basics of video editing so its not so hard when you go to intermediate or pro softwares like davinci resolve or premiere pro

I second DaVinci Resolve. No watermarks and there's a lot that you get for free. It's just a lot of learning because new people to the software will most likely be confused by the overwhelming number of options/features it offers.
