Do you think the right wing is increasing its clutches on nations?

In sociology, I have learnt a theory that there are power cycles in the world where the nations oscillate between left, centre and right during different periods of time as a cycle and its only natural that even great nations makes such choices that is important for the creation, sustenance and destruction of political power in the world.

Thinking through, the right wing now rule US, Israel, India and such nations. The pattern is very traceable to me. What are your thoughts?

Well one thing I can say is Donald Trump has had such an effect on right-wing support that it may out-weigh the left in the future where over time almost everyone would vote republican just because a famous person was one. Who knows though. I can see something like that possibly happening but it's hard to predict whether it actually would.

Well, I see the rise of the right every where. In my home country, it has been 17 years since they over threw monarchy but now they want monarch to come back they have been violently demonstrating these days.

I'm nearly 50 years old, and one thing I have observed over the decades of my adult life is the increasingly more influence the Right has gained within not only our political base, but also within society as a whole. I'm sure people (in the USA) remember 2001. Shortly after that horrific event that was totally blamed on a certain group of people, we got both the PATRIOT act and the PROTECT act, both of which totally infringe on privacy among other enshrined Constitutional Rights. Fast forward to now, and we have all sorts of laws being passed that are stripping away people's very identities, their citizenship even! The United States has become a modern day enslavement of authoritarianism. Land of the Free, home for the Brave? Yeah, only if you have Generational Wealth. And with the passage of the BBB (as of today, I hear) lots of people are going to loose their lives. And I'll probably be one of them, because I'm on MassHealth, my fiancee receives SNAP and a tiny bit of SSI, all three of which are most likely doomed to starve of funding.

Maybe New Hampshire has the only correct State motto after all, which is Live Free or Die? Unfortunately, it's appearing that within the next five years only the Wealthy will be living free, while the rest of us are too poor and will be dying.
