Many financial experts claim that recessions create millionaires because during recession value of assets goes down and offer a rare opportunity to buy undervalued assets. The logic is simple: when prices fall, that is the perfect time to invest and wait for the market to recover. But the question can you invest during recession? Most people see their incomes shrink during recessions, making it harder to invest, even if prices are low.

If there was a recession I recommend staying far and clear from the stock market. Your not going to get rich just because the cost of shares goes down. The fact that during a recession the entire stock market plummets and it's unlikely that one company your investing in will receive a large amount of payout, especially when the chances of losing money are so much higher.
