Spirituality is chosen while religion is often times forced. Religion can be anything that the person practicing it desires, whereas spirituality is defined by God. So how do you see both religion and spirituality?
Religion is both spiritual and written so there's not much difference except the fact that your targeting a specific religion. There's not much I could say.
Religion and Spirituality both have a common belief that there is a higher power that guides us all. Religion is more of a community based system of beliefs. Sometimes people want to establish that their religious belief is superior to that of others and that is where the problem starts. Spirituality is something more related to an individual's beliefs.
Spirituality is basically having a personal connection with the supreme being. To be able to understand and read through it is very important. This is what I have always told anyone who talks about religion and spirituality being the same thing.
There is a huge difference. If you are religious you believe in God, you follow faiths like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, or another religion. However, Spiritualist do not follow any particular god or religious believe. They just believe in supreme being.
