Well, Biden's admin is in the dumps.   The economy is horrible, in fact, Trump has a good chance of getting back in power in 2024.

However, Putin could not wait until the US elections.    He invaded and all that did what reignite the Cold War and it will be tough, even for Trump, to cozy up to Russia again.
